Do Appeals Courts Sometimes Give You a Hint of How They Will Rule?

no-contest-s-Fotolia_10685421_XSIf the decision in your will contest case starts off like the one in Marsh v. Marsh, you probably can discern that your chances of winning are not good. In Marsh, the court stated in its first paragraph “(t)his is the fourth appeal arising from the Estate of Monroe F. Marsh, deceased. Unwilling to accept the baselessness of their attacks against Marsh’s estate plan, Jane L. Marsh (Jane), his surviving spouse, through her son and attorney Michael A. Weiss, continue to assert frivolous claims against it.” Not a good sign for the contestants.
